At Bendigo Nursing Home, we always aim to provide our residents with the best possible care. We encourage our residents and their families to provide us with their feedback on their stay, as we value and appreciate it greatly. We use this feedback to continually improve our services and ensure that our residents are happy and comfortable.
Guidance / Definitions By The Care Quality Commission (CQC) (THE Regulator), About The Above Key Lines Of Enquiry (KLOE)
1. By Safe
CQC mean that people are protected from abuse and avoidable harm. People are supported to make choices and take risks and are protected from psychological and emotional harm, abuse, discrimination and neglect.
2. By Effective
CQC mean that the people receive care and treatment that achieves good outcomes, promotes a good quality of life (as practicable) and is based on the best available evidence. The people are supported to live their lives in the way that they choose and experience the best possible health and quality of life outcomes.
3. By Caring
CQC mean that staff involve and treat people with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. People, their families and carers experience care that is empowering and provided by staff who treat people with dignity, respect and compassion.
4. By Responsive
CQC mean that the service is organised so that it meets people's needs. People receive the care they need, are listened to and have their rights and diverse circumstances respected.
5. Well-Led
CQC mean that the leadership, management and governance of the organisation assures the delivery of high – quality, person – centred care, supports learning and innovation, and promotes an open and fair culture. Management and leadership encourage and deliver an open, fair, transparent, supporting and challenging culture at all levels.
